Climate change counselors focus at seminars

AN outline of climate effects across the NSW North Coast and south-east Qld over the past 100 years will be presented at a series of seminars to be held in the region over the next few weeks.

Called Making Farming Work for Your Family, the seminars will deal with issues such as:

• Whether or not climate change is cyclical.

• The worth of growing soil carbon.

• Maximising income from farm businesses.

Speakers will include government natural resource managers, rural financial counselors and mental health consultants.

Seminars will be held at:

Coraki on May 21.

Bangalow and Murwillumbah on May 27.

Bonalbo and Kyogle on June 3.
