AWB closes 2008-09 pools: $335/tonne in east

AWB today announced the closure of all 2008-09 Western and Eastern Pools, effective from 5pm (AEST) today.

AWB will not be opening new pools for the 2008-09 season.

For the benchmark APW grade, AWB’s 2008-09 wheat pool estimated returns stand at at $330 a tonne in the Western Pool.

Returns stand at $335/tonne in the Eastern Pool (FOB, excl GST).
