This spring lamb is back 'in the air': MLA

07 Sep, 2008 07:38 PM
Meat and Livestock Australia is bringing the Hollywood inspired 'Falling in Lamb' domestic campaign back for a second season to help build demand for lamb during spring.

The TV commercial, which received rave reviews in 2007, features two people falling in love over lamb.

MLA says it will be return to air for 4 weeks from 7 September in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Tasmania.

Working in harmony with the blockbuster commercial, new love song themed point-of-sale material has already been delivered to be displayed in more than 6000 butchers and supermarkets nationally, in order to encourage Australian consumers to put lamb on their plates, as new season supplies begin to hit the market.

Further promotional support accompanying this campaign includes, public relations activities and advertising in selected shopping centres.
