European machinery giant Deutz-Fahr has taken the wraps off its Agrolux 60 and 70-horsepower tractors through Australian distributor, SDF Landgear.
The Indian-made tractors encompass Deutz-Fahr’s renowned European styling and specifications at competitive prices.
The Agrolux models are available as a tractor loader package starting at under $40,000, exc GST for the Agrolux 60 model.
The Agrolux 70 model, meanwhile, is available for just under $43,000, exc GST.
SDF Landgear product and marketing manager Derek Mower says the tractors are ideal for both small acreage farms as well as general farming enterprises where a small front-end-loader tractor is required.
“They even have applications as utility tractors in horticulture and viticulture operations for handling veggie/fruit bins, which, along with their suitability for general feeding out, raking and a host of other activities, makes them an ideal general purpose utility tractor,’’ Derek Mower said.
Deutz-Fahr’s new Agrolux tractors offer:
• Indian manufacture with European design and heritage
• Competitive pricing and low servicing costs
• Low fuel consumption and high torque
• Two-post folding ROPs
• A 12-speed syncromesh transmission
• Ergonomically-designed operator comfort and
• Heavy-duty and proven driveline components.
The 12-speed syncromesh transmission provides versatility for a range of farm chores.
The heavy-duty driveline components include pressure lubricated transmission and heavy-duty epicyclic final drives for the most demanding tasks.
The tractors are said to be extremely manoeuvrable with a steering angle of 55 degrees, plus come with a balanced weight distribution for optimum traction and safety.
“The Agrolux tractors not only deliver greater performance from a well proven and very reliable driveline, the new models also benefit from exceptionally good fuel economy, modern ergonomics and the latest in European styling,’’ Derek Mower said.
