AN entirely new product line in the shape of Scout utility vehicles has just been unveiled by leading farm equipment maker
Case IH.
The company’s marketing manager Stuart Brown said its new range of rugged, versatile load carriers could go where full-sized utes couldn't.
Due in Australia by the end of 2010, three models will be available, namely a 10.5kW (14hp) two passenger petrol Scout with its 15kW (20hp) diesel-powered XL variant available in either a two or four passenger configuration.
At its annual dealer meeting held last week, Mr Brown outlined Case IH’s ‘product roadmap’ for 2010, including the introduction of the MAXXFARM tractor series.
“The focus for 2010 is on increasing functionality, productivity and efficiency for farmers,” he said.
The new MAXXFARM tractors – mostly under 100hp – are said to be ideal for vegetable growers, horticultural operations, orchards, plantations, livestock operations and various small farm tasks.
Available in six models, available accessories include mower decks, the Maxx-Lift front end loader with standard or 4-in-1 buckets and feature quick release buckets with Euro couplers.
