Gavilon has announced that it will establish its second Australian commodity management office in Perth.
Gavilon’s Australian headquarters for grain origination, transportation and logistics, marketing and distribution, and risk management services will commence business operations in October 2010.
“We are very pleased to be establishing our presence in Australia’s major agricultural exporting region,” said David Levine, vice president of Gavilon’s international division.
“We are looking forward to providing producers another alternative for services while helping to meet domestic and export demand for wheat, feed grains and oilseeds.”
