At 12pm on Friday, January 6, nominations closed and the WA Electoral Commission (WAEC) advised CBH there were six nominations, including nominations from three current directors of which one was instantly re-elected unopposed.

The current directors whose three year terms will expire at CBH's annual general meeting on February 28 and stood for re-election are Rod Madden, John Hassell and chairman Neil Wandel - all of whom stood for re-election as a candidate in this year's elections.

Neil Wandel was instantly re-elected unopposed in District Five.

In District One, Wubin farmer Brian McAlpine will stand against Rod Madden for election and in District Three, Pingelly grower Raymond Marshall and Kondinin grower and civil marriage, family and funeral celebrant Lindsay Darton Tuckwell will stand against John Hassell.

Elections will be held in Districts One and Three and grower members in these districts will have until the close of the poll at 10am on Monday, February 20, to vote for their nominated director.

Ballot packs containing full voting information will be mailed to members farming in electoral Districts One and Three on Friday, January 20.

The results will be announced after votes are counted on the same day as the poll closes.
