SGIO Operations Manager Sandra Robinson said repairs were underway to her customers' houses damaged in last month's blazes.

"Unfortunately, three SGIO customers lost their homes to the bushfires," she said.

"We've already processed and paid these claims and have assisted with temporary accommodation and additional support where required for these customers.

"Our people have been on the ground coordinating assessments, organising repairs and processing claims payments as quickly as possible."

Mrs Robinson said SGIO had received 19 claims from Toodyay residents to date, mostly relating to home and contents damage.

SGIO declined to divulge the total value of claims on their company arising from the fires which destroyed 38 houses on December 28.

RAC spokesman Adrian Firth said his company had processed 38 claims on a further 19 properties, totalling $1.1 million. The RAC claims include two total losses.

The spokesman said the RAC was settling claims as people presented them, and was making repairs to many of the damaged properties.

A Wesfarmers spokeswoman refused to reveal how many claims that company had processed.
