LEICA Geosystems has released a new option for user-friendly precision guidance with the Leica mojo3D guidance and customised control system.
The system combines a unique three-dimensional user interface with rugged, water-resistant metal hardware built to withstand tough conditions.
With a large 17.5cm (7in) touch-screen display and high-quality three-dimensional graphics, the Leica mojo3D has been built for ease of use.
It has an intuitive, icon-based menu structure and set-up wizards to minimise setting changes with users simply tapping the relevant icon, without having to navigate away from the main guidance screen.
"The Leica mojo3D is the next level in precision guidance," Leica Geosystems global sales and marketing manager Rob Kiernan said.
"Users can now choose the way they view the guidance screen by zooming in and out for a variety of different perspectives, as well as selecting the type of vehicle and implement they are using with realistic 3D models."
The Leica mojo3D comes with AB parallel, A+ heading, pivot and fixed contour guidance as standard, with integrated GLIDE technology for 25cm (10in) pass-to-pass accuracy.
It has an easy-mount antenna for vehicle roof and a built-in cell modem for in-cab remote service and support via Virtual Wrench.
Coverage mapping also is included as standard, with the option to store the worked area, save and recall treatments and import/export data from tractor to tractor, or export PDF reports to the office, via USB.
Users can customise the Leica mojo3D to meet individual requirements, with a range of option packs available, including terrain-compensated electric auto-steer via the Leica QuickSteer motor and Leica TWIST terrain compensation unit.
Single section or multi-section control to reduce overlap and misses in spraying, spreading and planting applications also is available.
Additionally, users have the option to upgrade auto-steer accuracy to +/- 2cm RTK positioning with the Leica mojoRTK.
The Leica mojo3D can be pre-ordered now with shipment starting March 29.
For farmers looking for a cost-effective entry point into precision guidance Leica has a new option with the Leica mojoMINI lightbar guidance system, which also comes with standard street navigation for daily use in any on-road vehicle.
The Leica mojoMINI lightbar comes with the Leica SmartAg antenna and GLIDE technology for improved in-field accuracy.
Also standard is a 11cm (4.5in) touch-screen display with multiple guidance options, including AB parallel, A+ heading, contour and pivot guidance.
"The mojoMINI can be installed in minutes and reduces the operator's time to learn the system while increasing in-field guidance accuracy over traditional LED lightbar systems," Leica product manager Peter Bailey said.
The on-road navigation software is robust with voice commands and lane assistance technology.
The Leica mojoMINI also includes a calculator feature for calculations on-the-go - whether crunching business numbers or mixing complex farm applications.
According to Leica global sales and marketing manager Rob Kiernan, the Leica mojoMINI lightbar system complements the current line of mojoRTK auto-steer products, including high precision, repeatable 2cm RTK positioning using the Leica mojoRTK with a base station or Network RTK connection.
