Kununurra abattoir fetches $1m

22 Feb, 2010 06:41 AM
The former Kununurra abattoir in Western Australia's Kimberley region has sold to a local buyer for $1 million.

Set in the Carr Boyd Ranges the 44 hectare property offers tourism potential or agricultural conversion.

Formerly operated as an abattoir and zoned agriculture, the property has direct access to the waterholes of the East Kimberley.

Mandy Thorneycroft of Elders Real Estate brokered the transaction.
